From the Principal

Schools have a high calling and must not take lightly the way they present the world to students in their care. Children must feel secure, free to be themselves, and be encouraged to grow and learn as they are able. They need a sense of belonging to a wider community and confidence to play their part in it. Parents never hand over responsibility to the school, they just have the teacher walk beside them for a while, playing their part in the growth and development of the child.
There has been much debate about grading children, yet we all agree with the shortcomings of this process. What we really want to see in children is the development of a personal faith which has an integrity and a substance producing robust character and humble service. This ought to be evident in the school structure and have a community input.
Berowra Christian Community School exists to support parents by producing the environment, expertise, challenge and opportunity which allow children to develop an attitude like that of Jesus – Phil 2: 5-11.
You may wish to join us as we journey together in God’s strength seeking to unfold His wonderful world to the children in our care.
All schools worth their salt will seek to provide an education of excellence in all matters relating to the child and on a level which is appropriate to each individual. Berowra Christian Community School sees that foundational to achieving this aim is the development of practises and policies which lead to a true understanding of God, to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and an outworking of Biblical teaching. I’d love to talk to any parent who truly wants to see their children reflecting the Lord Jesus Christ, desiring them to be Godly offspring, and to do this in a community that is caring and secure.
