Student Leaders
At BCCS it is our belief that all senior students should be given the opportunity to practice leadership skills. With this in mind we don’t elect captains or a student leadership body, but allow each Year 6 student to take a turn at being a prefect.
Leadership tasks include organising and running some segments in school assemblies, receiving and welcoming guests to school events and leading teams in sporting events.
Year 6 students participate in the Global Leadership Conference run by World Vision every year.
Class leaders and helpers are selected from time to time to assist and direct peers. Each child needs to experience the responsibility and opportunity that leadership offers.
