Parent Help
This is absolutely essential in a small school - and greatly appreciated! We ask you to contribute about one hour per week per child. You will have the chance to select the areas where you feel you have skills - helping in the classroom, or perhaps with administrative duties. Those with pre-school children at home can help by minding toddlers for others, freeing them to help at school. This involvement is necessary not only for the smooth running of the school, but because we all enjoy having you around - especially your children, who love to see you at school. Parents gain valuable insights into their child’s school life by their regular presence.
SIGN-ON BOOK
This is kept at the reception desk. For safety and protection reasons, all visitors are required to sign on if spending time with children at school (eg parent help). It does not apply to dropping or picking up children or brief casual visits to school for other purposes.
