Overview
Registration requires that all schools use Board of Studies approved courses in the delivery of their educational curriculum. In all Key Learning Areas a Biblical worldview underpins values and provides a platform and reference for competing interests in school life. Reporting requirements are compliant with each child developing individuality in community – striving to serve and excel. The Word of God is integrated in all aspects of school life, from prayer at the commencement of the day to the foundations of our policy formation.
All students are assessed annually to map literacy and numeracy progress, with assistance offered to those in lower ability bands. Music is taught by a visiting Music teacher, as is most of the LOTE (French). Children are introduced to IT from Kindergarten in the school lab.
A high profile exists in sport with many representative opportunities following a great line of success. Out of school training is programmed as required.
Small class sizes of pastoral care composite groups make the teaching/learning experience one of great rigour, progress, adaptation and vitality. All these work so well because of the close team of dedicated, highly trained staff.
A school Band operates for those learning an instrument, while choir, computer, garden, chess and craft clubs have their season.
